Mikey

Mikey came from Chagford market and initially nobody seemed to want him and we thought he was going to be unsold however the dealer put in a bid of 8 guineas so we bid 10! He is our most nervous pony though and been led astray by Archie on the odd occasion!  He too loves his food and we are finding it a good way to get him to talk to us.  He runs at the slightest movement towards him unless we are holding a bucket of food or hay, if we have this we aren’t so scary!  We won’t put any pressure on him just leave him to eat from our hands and gradually his confidence will grow.  Once he realises all we do is give him nice things he will soon learn to come to us rather than run away!
